Review by hotel critic
The simple yet spacious room was clean and had all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. It was clear that the focus here is on providing a genuine and authentic Austrian experience. The breakfast spread was satisfactory, featuring local specialties and homemade syrups that added a nice touch to the meal. It was evident that effort was put into sourcing quality ingredients for guests to enjoy. The staff, mainly family members, were friendly and accommodating, offering assistance with dining recommendations and ensuring a pleasant stay. While the property may not boast luxurious amenities or a modern aesthetic, the warmth and hospitality of the owners make up for it. For those looking for a affordable stay in a charming setting, Pension Ehrenfried is a viable option. The location, just off the highway, makes it convenient for travelers passing through or looking to explore the surrounding areas.
